Applications invited for scholarship

Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF), set up by Infosys co-founder S. D. Shibulal and Mrs. Kumari Shibulal, is inviting applications from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for its Vidyadhan scholarship programme.

The scholarship is for economically backward students – from families with an annual income below Rs.1 lakh. The students should have passed their SSLC examination in 2016 or 2015 with more than 90 per cent or full A+ grades (75 per cent for students with disability) from both states.

Those eligible can log intowww.vidyadhan.orgfor details and apply online till August 10. According to a release from the foundation, the scholarship covers Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2 and any higher specialisation of the students' choice provided they continue to secure high grades.
