TAZEWELL, Va. — The Southwest Virginia Community College 25th Anniversary Scholarship Golf Classic was played on Sept. 22 at Tazewell County Country Club. The tournament was played in celebration of the life of Sam G. McCall Jr. Proceeds from the tournament provide scholarships for deserving students at SWCC.
Championship flight winners were Taylor Lindsey and Budge Hunter.

McCall's wife Priscilla was present at the tournament. The event received support from McCall family members and Greensboro area friends.
