CHISHOLM — Michael Sabatina, reservation SMAS specialist and QTT at Delta Air Lines, was recently awarded a $1,500 award for Excellence Certificate Scholarship from the Delta Scholarship Fund. He is attending the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus, online program, studying for a Bachelor of Science in information technology management.
The Delta Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational scholarships to employees of Delta Air Lines and their eligible dependents worldwide for the opportunity to pursue higher education. Awards are based on academics, leadership, work and military experience and a letter of recommendation. Half of all awards also include financial need criteria. Awards may be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies. The primary source of funding is through the generosity of Delta people through payroll deductible pledges, employee fundraising events and private donations.
