TOLEDO (13abc Action News) - Physicians at the University of Toledo Medical Center are honoring one of their own with a scholarship.

37-year-old Cyrus Chan has end stage colon cancer.

Residents said he won't be able to finish his surgical training or graduate this year.

They've set up a scholarship in his name.

As of Saturday night, they had raised more than $16,000 on an online fundraiser. Their goal is $25,000.
